NEW HAVEN POLICE & U.S. MARSHAL'S FUGITIVE TASK FORCE LOCATE WANTED SUSPECT

(3/23/2009) NEW HAVEN- Friday evening, New Haven Police Officer John Palmer and members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force located wanted subject Wallace Frasier at 635 Elm St. Frasier was wanted on an outstanding warrant with a $750,000 bond for the illegal sale of a handgun to a juvenile. Frasier had been eluding police for several weeks following an investigation conducted by Detective LaPorta of the Departments Firearms Unit and the issuance of the warrant for his arrest. Frasier, who was taken into custody without incident, was formally charged with:

Criminal Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Tampering with a witness

Illegal transfer of a weapon

Carrying a pistol without a permit

Aiding and Abetting/Pistol without a permit

Threatening

Harassment 1st.
